My brother told me he heard abotu a guy with 2 fords, one was and '85 6cyl and the other was some ford diesel (cant remember what).
Anyway, the guy put on a turbo from a nissan or soem other ricer and did some custon plumbing and has it pulling better than the diesel. Not sure of what would all be done to add something like that, but it'd be fun to do to my dad's '83 6 cyl, all that hood space begging to be filled

3" exhaust and a K&N air filter did wonders for the topend on my '92 4.9

That's a great site!! I was on there yesterday checking out some stuff for my Falcon. They have this center exhaust port splitter that they say will increase power as much as 10%. Go figure!? I want to know how they make your browser window jerk around? I thought my Mac was having a meltdown,LMAO,,,,,98

Thumbs up

fordracer,

I had a '95 F-150 XL, w/5 spd trans, 2.73: 1 reraend, long bed, reg cab.

Performance Mods : Dynomax Exhaust System(Jeg's.com) $180
K&N filter $39
Autolite Heavy Duty Spark Plugs $12

I gained 2 mpg, city and Hi-way (14/19), I also gained alot of low-end power. (U gotta love that torgue...)

I would go with these mods:

1. Dynomax Ehaust System
2. K&N FIPK
3. Jacob's Ignition System w/wires and Autolite Plugs
4. Bosch Heavy Duty Cap and Rotor
5. New Fuel Filter

Good Luck...
