4.6l romeo engine help

i hope i have placed this in the right forum. i have a 2001 f-150 4.6l romeo triton wanted to know if i could get any 4.6l romeo example a crown vic, what if any wouldneed to be done to make this work. the reason i am asking is crown vic motors are 700 and f150 motors are 1400 i am not 100% sure yet if i need a whole motor i am hoping i just need a head plug blew out and part broke off in cyl oil and water is mixed and ther is oil in bore. any help would be wonderful.

Use a timesert in the old head and you'll be just fine. If a part broke off and scored a cylinder or piston or damaged a ring than a rebuild will cost as much as new @ $1400. As for the engines they are pretty much the same. Intake is different so just re-use your old one along with the throttle body. Swap shoud be pretty straight forward. Im sure someone will chime in and be of more help.

either the head is busted or cylinder is damaged oil and water in cylinder bore. cant see in to know exactly till i get it out of truck. thanks for your help
