Coil problems never ending

Thumbs down Coil problems never ending

my 07 F150 has a new set of plugs and a new set of coils yesterday started skipping ao i read the codes and changed coil 8 then to day it started skipping again not just 8 but now 4 too , this prroblem has been going for a couple weeks now of replacings coils , any ideas???

What coils do you have/where are they from? Global? If so, then that's pretty standard.

Change the coils to different cylinders and see if the codes move. If so then you know your problem.

I had the same problems I kept losing #5 & #8 coils. i ended up having a vaccum leak since that was fixed I have not had any more problems with mine. I hope this helps.

If you need them, I would go with Visteon coils. Since there hasn't been a complaint. Not many use them here, - other forums have put them to the test. - People who know what their doing. - Well, that I trust anyway.

You'll pay a little more than other eBay coils, -but under $200. So, it still beats the dealerships price.

BTW-Galaxy is truly in love with Global coils. ( :

Thanks guys . I figured out my problem back coils on 4 and fouled plug on 8 but riddle me this the fould plug was freaking destroyed. Not good . I buy accel coils . Worth a damn ? Thanks again

What do you mean by "destroyed" ? Missing pieces?

What plugs did you use?

well great ... And it was missing pieces yes , i put motorcraft plug back in it
