How Much?
There's been alot of seat of the pants talk about horsepower so I thought I'd pass this info. on. The following figues are AVERAGED and ROUNDED from 1500 rpm to 3500 rpm(500 rpm increments). I cut it off there as this is the most useable range and the numbers above this could set off some fires.Stock HP

4.6---55--80--105--130--150

Interesting, Gman. Thanks for the info.
2 questions,
are you getting this info from the sales brouchures or from another source (just wondering cuz my brouchure has different figures)? and
do you have figures for the post-99 5.4L Triton?
Thanks,
Jim

Hey JHerron: The numbers posted were observed through independent testing and are averaged and rounded as stated before. Promo charts given out by the factory are good for spot comparision but most often are misleading as to actual numbers. The posted #'s are rear wheel as opposed to flywheel. The 99LD #'s are 73--108--133--158--184. I rounded these to the nearest whole # only. I left these out of my previous post as my intention was to give a general perception of power difference between engines but I guess it my help someone to make comparisions of model years. Gman
