Question for those folks running an edge and monitoring their Cylinder Head temps. Are your readings fairly steady, once up to operating temperature, or do they fluctuate? Mine were constant around 194 to 198, I just had my intake manifold replaced, due to cracking, and they are not bouncing between 196 and 206, and more rapidly than I would expect from metal engine parts.

 

I monitor ECT I monitored both ECT and CHT for awhile and found they are the same and they can and do fluctuate pretty quick. Thermostat opens cool water flows in thermostat closes etc..
