ok i was cleaning my truck yesterday and had got done blowing all of the crap off the body and frame and let it sit and dry, after awhile i went to start it, and it fired and then missed several times, so i turned the motor off and checked to see if i had gotten any water on it and it was dry as a whistle, so i went to start it again and all it would do was turn over and sputter. I let it sit for awhile and tried it again and it fired a few times so i LIGHTLY bumped the trottle and it took off and sputtered and coughed a few times and ran rough for all of 45 seconds and cleared up. I had to take a buddy home so i dropped it into first and slowly accelerated to WOT in first gear, then backed off, pulled over and killed it and restarted it without a problem, any ideas? im at a loss here. i really hope i dont have this problem again *knock on wood* i haven't yet. Any ideas on why it did that would help.

did you wash the engine compartment if so you might have had some water near the coil boots causing them to arc when you turned the engine creating a misfire
