Question Beep Beep!

Hey all!

Went on vacation last week to SC. Funny thing happened to me (one of many ). As I entered SC I came to a stop light. Upon leaving the stop light I hear a horn as I accelerate. It sounds like someone is beeping at me but it isnt very loud. I look around and roll down the window but nothing. I accelerate and hear the beeping again, I look around and roll down the window...nothing. This goes on until we got to the beach house. It happened the rest of the time at the beach and even when I got back home. I have figured out that it must be coming from the air intake, every time I accelerate there is a beeeeeeeeep...like a car horn but quiet. Im guessing something isnt tight. Any suggestions on where to look and what to do?

Pull the engine cover (3 10mm bolts) and look at the little plastic box that acts like a muffler. When installing my Air Aid Kit I had a loud noise until I reinstalled that plastic box.

TELLENBERGER,
Thanks for the advice! Tonight when I got off work I took the cover off just like you said and found the plastic box. I tightened the screw that holds the air intake tube to the engine and also tightened the one connected to the airfilter housing. I dont know which one it was, but no more beeping.
