My truck 2005 ford f150 fx4 over heated and lost oil pressure. I found antifreeze in my oil pan. so trying to find a new/rebuild motor. Can any one recommend a good place to buy a new/rebuild motor. or tell me where to stay away form. Allso how hard are these motors to rebuild. I have build a few motors but they where older motors 460s, 351.

I see qty. 5 on ebay right now for 2004-08 in the $2150-$3000 range obo plus freight which seems high to me. I would find a nationwide or statewide craigslist search tool like http://www.statewidelist.com/ where you can search all listings in your whole state or even nearby ones and if you have a little patience I bet you'll find one. I saw one with 90k miles on my craigslist a month ago and they were asking $1500 if I remember correctly. Right now a different guy has a trans and transfer case for an FX4 for sale for only $600 which is a rockin deal. I hope this helps.
