I've got two 2003 F150s, one with 102k and the other 136k with no problems, and one is pretty heavily modded

I put 135,000 trouble free miles on my 2005 5.4 and have 59,000 trouble free on 2011 5.0. I'll keep my Fords

Looks like we got off your problem. Ford knows about the problem. They have service bulletins on it. I have seen where the truck had all service done at the dealer and they would not pay for the breakdown. I had mine done at a dealer and they put in one quart too much? You need a lawyer. I hope we start a class action one of these days.
