has anyone tried the accel replacement coils for the 5.4 ? how do they hold up compared to the OE coils ?

 

Stick with motorcraft. They are the best for these trucks. Especialy in the
ignition , suh as plugs,wires, and cops.

 

Look for a store on ebay called uneek......buy a set of v10 ones for your year of 5.4 then you'll have a couple of extras.....the performance coils are junk....

 

The Mustang crowd was buying the Accell high performance COPS for awhile, go check out a few of the classified parts section on any of the Mustang forums and you'll find lots for sale cheep (and only slightly used). That should tell you how "good" they are.
