Anyone see in the latest Popular Mechanics issue the test of the F150, Silverado, GMC, Tundra, and Ram? The 5.4 Ford was fastest 0-60 at 8.5 seconds and also fastest in the quarter mile. The Chevy had the 5.3 with its higher horsepower rating and everything. The Chevy won on braking however, stopping 30 ft shorter than the F150. I don't know if the test F150 had rear disk brakes or not, which could explain the stopping diff.

The Ford was faster, but the Chevy won the test. Most guys I know buys cars to go fast, and trucks to tow boats or take off- road to the hunt leases.
