What is the difference?

Looking at buying a newer F-150 with a 4.6 or the new 5.0 litre. Some are listed as flexible fuel and some are not. I understand flexible means you can burn some ethanol but what is the actual differences in the engines?
I plan to probably never burn anything except gasoline so should I stick to a non-flexible fuel truck?

All engines can use 10-15% ethanol. A flex fuel means it can use up to 85% (E85) ethanol. Even if you plan not to use any more than the 10% ethanol (what most stations have now), having a flex fuel will not make a difference.

I think if I were buying new right now I'd kinda want the E-85 even though I dont like the e-85 idea in the near future there could be changes maybe E-85 could get cheaper, they could come up with a way to manufacture it for less. Be nice to have the option. Unless your only going to have the truck for 2-3 years then in that case I wouldnt want it..
