Hello i have a 2011 f150 5.0 10,000 klm it just started to knock on start up only when its been sitting for a couple of days the knock goes away after 2-3 seconds when oil pressure goes up is this normal

What oil are you using? What filter? There is not a whole lot of collective experience here with the 5.0 yet but historically mod motors hate fram filters if your using one that is your problem. you should use motorcraft semi synthetic and a motorcraft filter or BETTER..

I will not buy ANYTHING fram.. Not even for my GMC van. Fram sucks.. The modular engine really hates Fram oil Flters.. Hopefully there is not permanent damage..
