2003 5.4l Oil LEak

I have a 2003 5.4l F-150 4x4. An oil leak has started somewhere above the oil filter. Thought it was teh oil filter, changed it out no luck. 165,000 miles, any thoughts where the oil is coming from?

Unplug it, unscrew it, screw a new one in, reconnect it. You should be able to get the right socket to do it at a parts store, either buy it or see if they have it in their loan or rent a tool kit.

Did you ever find the leak? I was at the dealership an hour ago with the same problem. It is coming from the oil filter adapter. There is a place where coolant comes down by the filter and there is and adapter there with seals and O rings. THey quoted me $615 to fix it. Still wondering if I should.

No! I changed the oil pressure sending unit with no luck. I'll have to look into the oil filter adapter. Let me know if that is the problem. $615 sounds high to me.
