im new in the ford modular family and have maybe some "rookie" questions.
can somebody help finding the sensors on my 2003 5.4 2v engine.

where is the crank position hall and VR sensor placed?
where is the Air temp sensor and the coolant temp sensor placed?

CPS = Look to your AC harness connector , front pass side of engine. Follow harness down to the connection and the end of. Ends @ the CPS.

Not sure what a "VR" sensor is ??

The IAT IntakeAirTemperature sensor is located half way thru your air intake tube.

Correct on the O2 sensors. TWO NB in front. One @ each exhaust/manifold connect.

There are also TWO efficiency monitors. These are the same part as the NB's in front, but differ in duty assignment @ vehicle side of harness. These are located downstream in the exhaust Y.

Not familiar with a "ms3".

The 2003 doesn't use a coolant sensor to figure. The PCM utilizes the the CHT CylinderHeadTemp sensor to monitor/calculate engine temps.

This sensor is located at the inside front of the drivers side head.
