02 4.6 stumbles upon acceleration, when i have the pedal held steady in one position RPMs drop to about 1300/1400 give it gas and it hesitates and sputters like its not getting fuel.Ive replaced the plugs, dpfe sensor, MAF,TPS, fuel regulator, EGR valve is only a year and a half old. if i get on it or left off the gas the stumble goes away , Ive gotten a P0003 code( which im told I shouldnt) and a EGR valve circuit low code.

 

Try the fuel filter next

Which DTC's scanned other than the PO 003 ?

MIL present ?

Has the MIL blinked at any time?

 

Coils? Did you use Motorcraft plugs?

 

yes motorcraft plugs coils were tested when i did plugs a month ago. this afternoon SES started flashing( misfire?) but no misfire codes when i hooked it up to the Modis

 

How were the coils "tested"? The only way to do that is at the dealer with quite expensive test equipment.

Spend the 100 bucks and buy a 10 pack of DG508's from Global or Uneek on Ebay - that way you will even have a couple spares.

 

ok ordering them today let you know how it turns out

 

so replaced the coils that were bad, and no more stumbling, thanks guys,
