97 f-150 extended cab 4x4 with an auto and a 4.6l.
Number 1 cylinder has no compression, I have a 2000 mustang gt 4.6 pi motor sitting there, now is all I need the intake off of a 2001 f-150 with a 4.6 right(pi)? Then can I switch my smaller injectors, fuel lines off of the 97 intake and my throttle body and all will hook right up? This will run with no computer adjustment right?

I've done the swap 10 or so years ago and can't remember exactly so I just want to be sure(last time I kept the bigger injectors on and got a custom tune but money is a little tight and would like to get headers later so a custom tune would be better later).

I realize that coil packs, fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body all need to stay with the 97.
Can I also switch the front crank case cover over from the 97? The one nipple of the idler pulley is cracked off on the stang one and I'd like to run 8 rib belt anyway so would just swap all 8 ribs over with front cover. Considering underdrive pulleys as that is a cheap mod and would have to go with the 97 year to stick with 8 rib...

Any hints or help would be great
