Oil Filter Relocation

I am in the process of installing an oil filter relocation kit on my y2k 5.4 F-150. The kits I have seen fit the truck but they don't alow the use of the recommended FL-820S - they utilize a more universal filter such as the FL1. It would seem a simple matter for the manufacturer to offer a different threaded nipple that fits the 820S. Does anyone have any ideas of a brand that will allow use of the recommended filter?

Oh my god you guys!! the oil filter is about the easiest filter to change! just crank the wheel all the way to the right and you dont even need to climb under the truck to loosen it! I think its in a handy spot. alote easier than some other trucks.

My wife's '01 Expy has the filter above the axle too. Now it drips oil all over the garage floor because the drip shield can't be completely cleaned.
