hey guys, I have the 4.6L engine and it seems to be making a louder noise than usual. I know that the serpentine belt and the injectors are quite loud for this motor and that it is responsible for most of the ticking and such, but now my engine seems to be making quite a bit more noise. I had an accident about 2 weeks ago where i hit a corolla going 35-40 mph, but it didnt damage my truck (lifted and big tires sticking out saved me). could the impact have done something to the engine? help!

 

I think you should have a shop do a complete vehicle inspection after having that accident.
