2000 5.4 Timing Cover Oil Leak

I have the same problem FordTech1 wrote about. I have a 2000 f 150 5.4 L engine. The timing cover is leaking oil on both sides, maybe 10 drops per night. Not real bad but a problem I would like to resolve. The exact location is on the drivers side looking in from the wheel well where the head/block and timing cover come together, behind the ps pump, above and to the left of the oil filter I have oil seeping out, 4 to 6 drops a night. I have the same problem on the other side. Is there anything I can do with the oil to stop the seepage? Use an additive or different weight? By the way, this is my fault, I replaced the heads and re installed the timing cover. Probablly not enough RTV. I am open for ideas??

No. You need to redo the gasket.

Do the valve covers have to come completely off? Any help walking me thru the job? Any posts or pics? I did the head gaskets last year and likely did not install correctly.

Thanks
Kevin
