I have a code on my 2005 4.6 that says #2 misfiring - just have to figure out which is # 2 - and - can these things be replaced without taking a bunch of other stuff off? What in the world was Ford thinking with the coil over idea?
Also, second code that indicates engine running lean - any common leakage areas?
My 1990 F150 is greatly missed (still running, neighbor is the new proud owner!)

 

It's a high tech design, that needs to be serviced once in awhile. So who are you to question, (?) - you can't even figure out where #2 is lol.

 

#2 is passenger side, 2nd coil pack back.
