operating temperature's

Getting a great education from all you folks about any and everything.
A HUGE thanks to all

98-4.6, looking for operating temps. I recently learned that my Actron scanner can display temps etc while driving at speed down the ole Hwy.

after flushing, new hoses and therm with W-pmp, I'm seeing an avg of 196 to 201 while driving about town with A/C running (sunny Fla). Ordering new gauge pod and gauges to monitor more closely

After searching around my temps seems in the zone. Would you consider this normal range of temps?

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated

I don't think the T-stat even opens until 195*, you should be just fine.

190-220F is the typical range. You're fine.

Thermostat is around 195-197 as mentioned. 200 + - 10 is completely normal. Even more so, that's where this motor is designed to run at. Any cooler and you will only have problems, rich running, poor fuel mileage, loss of power, etc. There's not even any cause for concern until you start approaching 230-ish.
