Does anyone know what this DTC code is 5284?? Ford doesnt know(what else is new...lol.) Thanks

 

HI!... THEROCK : Let me guess, you got that code by doing the trick with the digital odometer, right? That code has nothing to do with engine codes. The trick with the digital odometer is just for the guage cluster. It has NOTHING to do with the PCM. Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes and the code will go away. I had that same code a few years ago and did that and it has never come back. Try it and see what happens. Hope this helps you out.
