'03 FX4 5.4, i can't find the thing.

 

nevermind i found it. son of a gun looks like it's gonna be hard to get to.

 

Yea man on those 5.4s there on the passenger side of the engine all the way at the back of the throttle body elbow i belive. That has to be a pain. But no more of a pain as piston number 4 spark plug and coil way under the fire wall.

 

At least you can get to them without pulling the body/plenum. Hopefully they used 8mm bolts, -they're a little easier to deal with back there lol. Some have 10mm.

 

I just took mine off 01 5.4 without pulling the tb. Just make sure you hang on to the 2 bolts that hold it on so you dont drop them down into no mans land The connector is kinda hard to get off...I just used a flathead screwdriver..
