How can I get the alarm on my truck back the way it was..?
I had it set up so that it would only arm if I pushed the Lock button on remote. Someone left my lights of and killed my battery. Now it auto arms... It is a real pain when getting it washed and just sitting in the truck..



Please Help....

Open your drivers door and turn the ignition to the ON position(NOT START) Find your METAL programming button and hold it in for about 20 seconds. After you hear 3 chirps relese the button, press then release again. You should hear four chirps. Press the lock button on your remote six times. Wait for chirping to stop in between. Check your red status light to make sure that it is on at this time. If not press your unlock button on the remote once. when the red light is on it is set to automatic alarm. Then all you do is turn off the ignition. Any problems let me know!

Yankee gave this info to me in a post that I put on wanting to do the opposite of what you want. I would think the only difference is press your unlock button on the remote until the arming light is off. I'm going to try later tonight to change it I will let you know how it goes.

 

Thanks. I would try that but, where is the Metal button located. All I see is the valet button. I tried it with the red button and got nothing....
