I have gone all over the place searching for the foglight mod so that I can turn on my fog lights and only have my parking lights on.
WHERE CAN I GET THIS THING AT????
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

If your lights came with a switch controller make sure your positive is hook up to a wire that is only to your parking lights. Then you leave the switch on and when your parking lights come on your fogs do as well. If you do not have the controller buy one (under $10) that is rated for the wattage of your fog lights. I purchased the PIAA kit and it came with the controller. I hooked it up to the head lamp power source. I didn't think I needed them on unless my head lamps were on. I hope this helps.
Probably get more replies if it wasn't in "Engines"
However, go to www.svtlightnings.com and click on the how to's on the left. From there click on the driving light mod link.
Be sure to read all of them including the last one about notching the shaft. Mine works like OEM. All of the good links are posted there in one place.
Good luck!

Odd place for a "fog light" question

Easy mod, fantastic instructions, good step by step pics. If you have a Dremel Tool, takes 30-45 minutes tops for first time taking it slow.

Thanks guys! I'm stuck here in Washington & Lee university for another 3 weeks then it's back home to my baby!!! And my g/f.
Sorry that I put this in the Engine forum. I'm not used to the computer system up here and I just got sick of messing with all the computer talk crap, so I just put it where it would work. Thanks again guys!

Flea..... The link below is the one you want, because the others are for 2000 to present year F-150's. The light pod retainer system changed in 2000 to 3 clip design. The light pod retainer system is different(easier to remove the pod from the dashboard) in '97-'99 models.
Just make sure you take your time while seperating the light switch. I neglected to push in the little tab on the post that the light switch **** slides on to and when I pulled the switch completely apart, little copper colored contacts and springs flew everywhere. Took quite a while to find them all and figure out where they belonged!
Here is the part of the instructions that I neglected to follow.....NOTE: after the two halves are separated slightly and it seems you can go no farther, squeezing the tab on the end of the **** shaft eases removal)
This is the only tricky part to the whole thing. it doesn't "ease removal" as it stated. Instead, it keeps the stuff inside from flying everywhere.
