Hey guys i have a question i have a 2007 f150 5.4 that had a real bad leak coming from around power steering pump. I got under it looked like it was coming from the oil cooler but leak was so bad i couldnt tell. Oil was dark brown so i didnt think it was the power steering pump so i sprayed the area with engine cleaner and sprayed it off with water turns out the power steering pump was bad. After i cleaned the engine the truck had a real bad rough idle. i have a performance exhaust so u can hear it out the exhaust real bad. I take it to pep boys and they install a new power steering pump hit me over the head almost $800. they say they ran an engine diagnostic and it aint pulling no codes. Ive pulled the MAF sensor cleaned it rubber on it was good. I replaced the engine 20,000 miles ago and had the transmission rebuilt with a performance upgrade. Any thoughts before i go spend 250 on coil pack set?

I think you said the misfiring started when you washed the engine. Maybe you got the coils wet. Check that out.
