Hey all - here's a summary of my 2001'a problems-
1. Wrong radiator. Replaced with free rental at Fuller Ford in Chula Vista, California.
2. Seaping output seal, tansmission. ANY TIPS, ANYONE?
3. Idle Surge. Especially after going into gear real quick. ANYONE?

4. HELP ON THIS ONE: Does anybody's truck develop a BRRRRRRRING-type vibration at 90MPH+. Almost certainly in the driveline, but maybe a bad rear wheel bearing? It's fairly low in frequency, and strong enough to make all my mirrors impossible to see out of! Maybe imbalanced driveshaft, and thus the seapy output seal? HELP!

5. After 10K miles, I average 18 on the freeway at 75 MPH, and about 12 to 14 in town, with my paw in it!

6. Oh - I LOVE MY TRUCK.

I also have a vibration at 90+, it does`nt make the mirrors shake but it is noticable. I also have the idle surge, if i start it up and put it into gear to fast i get the surge. It did it the other day and stalled on me, if it keeps up i will take it into the dealer and let them handle it under warranty.

I had a cold engine idle surge going into gear. Dealer replaced EGR valve and cured it.
