02 5.4 missing

hey i was driving my truck today when i noticed it missing. it wasnt terrible but then i realized about 2 days before i had sprayed the engine some to clean it off. the las time it was missing i did the same thing and we took it in and had a vacuum hose resealed and new plugs put in. i have heard other people saying that moisture in the cylander could lead to this. if any one thinks this is true, please tell me some things i can do to fix it without going to the shop. thanks

You got the coils wet. Remove them, blow out the wells with compressed air, make sure the coils are dry, then reinstall them with dielectric grease. If it still misses, you may have to replace one or more of them.

You can buy a whole set on Ebay for the cost of 1 or 2 at a store or dealer.
