Need Help Oil Leak!

|2005 F-150 FX4| So I have a high pressure oil leak spraying out of the engine oil temp sensor at the bottom of the oil pan. I went to check it out and it seems that a gasket between the sensor and the pan is coming apart. I went to Advanced and they dont have a gasket for that part. Went to the Ford dealership and their service department swears there is no gasket on that part and hasn't been since the 97 models. I don't know why they would have two metal parts connected holding a liquid without a gasket between them but the Geniuses at the dealership don't know if it's thread sealer or a gasket and can't find where they can get just a gasket. And I don't want to do what they suggest and just take it off and see if it is thread sealer or if I have to buy a new sensor, I don't want to take it off and need a new sensor and be without my truck until one comes in. So I have turned to the experts here, I know someone out there can help me here. Thanks in advance!
