You wont find many autolite fans around here.. The only plug that is an "Upgrade" from stock might be the Denso fine wire iridium plug. Otherwise Motorcrafts are the safe bet..

The only upgrade from the standard Motorcraft platinums would be iridiums.

Several have tried the E3 and had to pull them out. Just go with Motorcraft. Your truck will be happy.

Agreed, E3 not worth the time to put in or take back out. Stick with the Motorcraft, can't go wrong on that one.

there really isnt much in the way of "performance" upgrades over stock. People have reported a VERY SLIGHT increases in MPG using iridium plugs. I'm not sure motorcraft make a iridium plug though. Denso NGK and Champion do For sure..

I use the Denso Iridium fine wires and like them. In my case, my city mileage increased to 16 mpg, highway also @ 16 mpg, that stayed the same, but I drive @ 78 mph highway. Not that big of a deal, but mileage did average 14 mpg city before. Try Rock Auto's prices.

Your safe to run Motorcraft, Denso's or NGK's.

Well I have an 05 so its completely different, but I use motocraft, not even sure what they are, just the ones ford says to use in these 3 valves

But in my experience I have never seen a noticable difference with changing plugs unless the old ones are worn way out
