SES on 2002 5.4 Code P0135

I know it's bank 1 sensor 1. I plan to replace bank 2 sensor 1 too. Just wanted to get an idea about which O2 sensor to use. I've looked at Standard, NTK, Motocraft and Denso. Any suggestions or information about results you have had would be appreciated.

Before buying anything, check the heater circuit of the sensor with an ohmmeter. Should read between 3 and 30 ohms.

Often, heater fault codes are caused by electrical connections (corrosion, etc) and there is nothing wrong with the sensor itself.

Thanks for the advice. Although the truck had 143,000 miles on it when I bought it in September, so it probably does need new sensors. Especially since I have no idea when they may (or may not) have ever been replaced. Just replaced the plugs too. #1 was way out of gap. Need to fix the parking brake and then I'm done until the next code or I can afford to buy a replacement spare rim and tire. There are a lot of other things I'd like to do too, but they will have to wait until I win the Lotto.

Just an update. Put in the Bosch today. I didn't realize how bad the shudder had become until the new sensor was in. What a difference and what a PITA to do. Just wanted to say thanks to all here and this thread

What kind of spare rim are you looking for. I have a stock rim off a 2000 that I want to give away. It's the grey/aluminum colored swirly one.. Don't have any pics but it is in perfect condition if that is just what you would happen to be looking for. And I see your in WA. The tire that is on it is no good though.

Hey Toyz
Looking for the Lariat 3466 17" rim. It is kind of hard to explain it. It is a spoked rim with D shaped cut aways at the tire edge. I think I'm going to have to break down and buy one. At least I've found a place that has them for half what Ford is asking. Thanks though.

The second link is what I need. Bought my current truck used and the spare is a joke. Not even close to the size that's on the truck. So I'd like to match the spare.
