fuel pressure regulator

Pull your stock air cleaner assembly off. Then on the driver’s side follow the fuel rail back toward the fire wall. If you need to remove it you’ll need a pair of inside snap ring pliers. These things very rarely go bad.
Check your fuel relay, fuel pump, and change your fuel filter first.

thanks,
I guess I should have been more specific, I have no SES light on but my gas mileage has reduced significiantly. I'm at about 8MPG, I've replaced the fuel filter with no luck, MAF sensor etc. I was told by a friend that he has seen the regulator go back and dump gas into the vacuum line and that will then dump gas onto your back to plugs and burn it away ...causing no SES light and poor MPG. Anything else I should check?
