Mis-fire

Well long story short my truck was jerking while it was accelerating and I thought it was my U-Joints because I couldn't hear a misfire and a CEL never came on but it wasn't my U-Joints.
You can clearly hear a misfire now (6 days later) and a CEL still hasn't come on, I just changed all my spark plugs out 15,000 miles ago, the fuel filter just a little shorter then that. Should I keep running the truck and wait for a CEL to happen?

How many miles on it, and what brand spark plugs did you use?

Is that all 8 for 95$? Also are they worth it? I'm not trying to have one going out randomly and have to replace them again.

Yes, all 8 for $95. I actually paid a little less...Maybe they went up i dunno. Ive had mine on for roughly 6-7k miles and no problems whatsoever. Some people buy the 10 pack for the V10's just incase but i just bought 8 and all 8 were perfect.

get the 10 pack, the set for the v10 then you have spares. I've been using the for a couple of year with no failures. Also might save the known good coils..

Do you have the link for that?

Also does anyone have a part number or something for the bolt that holds the COP down? One of them was stripped last time and we just used needle nose pliers to tighten it down. I'm trying to avoid that this time.

Would these work on my truck?...

Those are the same part # so yes. And watch wrenching down on those cop bolts too hard or you'll break the coil or strip the threads on the intake.

On that specific one the COP was hard as heck to pull out and I can not physically put it back in.... I'm gonna order a new set... but any suggestions?

Could be a few things. It was more common on the passenger side #3 or #4 if there is a coolant leak from above. Bit if there was no fluid, I would say not to worry. Condensation and such can rust a plug out also
