upper intakes??

you could probably adapt a 3 valve mustang intake manifold fairly easily, but you'd lose your low end torque needed to get the heavy beast moving, so keep your stocker unless you are adding some serious boost

The truck is a 2010 is that the same engine as a 05mustang but just trying to make it quick for what it is not looking for a beast

Multiple dyno's already show that it's already essentially as quick as the 5.4L 3V so be happy with what you have. It's well optimized for reliability/power ratio. Just keep it in good shape, keep the air filter and oil replaced on appropriate schedules and make sure it doesn't develop any performance robbing faults (such as fouled fuel injectors or air mass sensor).

An aftermarket cold air intake isn't going to do a damn thing for performance on this engine.
