I still think you should get rid of those Bosch plugs before they self-destruct.

Update:
Received my initial tune from a local tuner, appears that it has completely fixed the miss and stuttering. Test drives have produced no CEL, will get some more miles on and see if it stays good. I am going to run a datalog and forward the results to the tuner so he can tweak the programming. Thanks everyone for all your help!

1998 F150 XLT 5.4 Triton V8 The problem I'm having is when I come to a stop my truck begins to idle rough as though it is going to stall, I have to apply the brake and give it some gas to keep it running. The engine light is on, my neighbor checked the code and found P0171 system adaptive fuel too lean (Bank 1) I haven't really noticed a drastic change in fuel consumption and the truck seems to go fine once I get going again. This has been going on for about 2 1/2 weeks. Any ideas that will get me running smooth again? Thanks,MPG50.

I would look for a vacuum leak. I believe on those engines there is a elbow on the back of the throttle body that splits or collapses.

Follow the hose from the PCV valve around to the back of the intake - that's where the elbow is.
