clogged injector

I have been having problems with my truck when i stomp on the gas. When i start off and floor it or when im going about 55 and floor it the motor sputters and backfires from about 3,000 rpm to 4,000 rpm. Recently i put some injecter cleaner and premium fuel in it and the problem went away. However, since then i have put the regualr unleaded in it and the problem seems to be coming back. Is this due to the winterized gas or do i just need to use premium fuel from now on?

No, you shouldn't use hi-octane fuel; especially in the winter. It's harder to vaporize, doesn't burn as well, and contains less energy.

How many miles on the spark plugs, what are their gaps, and what do they look like?

to my knowledge the spark plugs have been with the vehicle from the factory which means they have 48,000 miles on them. But i dont think thats the problem because it idles fine and runs smooth until i stomp on it. I used super unleaded gas and some injector cleaner and it seemed to make the problem go away but now that i refueled it seems to be coming back again.
