2005 5.4 spark plugs
Heres where it starts to hurt
How long did it take? well , I made the appointment a week in advance, and I figured I would have it back in a day. But first , they somehow didn't have all the plugs in stock. so they ended up having my truck over the weekend. Then after about 3k miles I had a misfire on one cylinder. I brought it in and a cracked plug was the culprit. so they replaced it , no cost. Then another 3k miles or so after that I was having some ticking. I thought it was the cam phasers on the side that hadn't been done. when I brought it in , they told me it was a plug that was working its way out. So it took me three trips to the dealership. two whole days, and one whole weekend. I'm not using that service dept. any longer.

I couldnt believe they didn't have the plugs. or couldn't have got them the same day. Poor service. Then they left a shop rag under the hood. I found it hanging around, near my p/s pulley. they also left my door panels greasy and scuffed up my freshly painted front urethane bumper cover. Their parts dept. also has given me incorrect parts . I have found another dealership that provided much better service now. But they are all expensive.
yea we have a bad dealer around here too thats why im trying this one, i have a list of things im gonna tell em before they start:
(1) do you have the plugs?
(2) my truck was repainted not long ago so try and keep it scratch free please
(3) i need my truck back today not tomorrow because then i need to find a ride home and back there again
