No hard feelings from here !! I only wish what you were saying about the 507 was true, would be a lot less frustration on this subject !

Who is the best to take it to, or should I trade it. I would feel guilty selling it to some one knowing that the plugs are an issue. The truck still looks good but the tran and diff have had some issues also.
The plugs are removable with out pulling the heads. Call your local dealer and ask for a quote on the plug change and how much for each stuck plug.

No worries! It's called a "teachable moment."

The SP-515 is now the latest. I just bought some for an upcoming plug change on my '06. These are what the dealers in my area are recommending to use now. When I get the old ones out, I'll post side by side photos showing the difference between the originals and the 515's.

I have added a link to a couple of photos of a SP-515 so that it can be compared to the older ones. You can see that the ground electrode has been reshaped to have less of it in the combustion chamber. Maybe this becomes a heat range change?

The SP515 is a finewire double platinum but still looks to be a multipiece unit in the pics I can see online.

I would suggest a group hug, but some of these guys get to much enjoyment from those.
