im in class and we have a LIVE customer car.

he has a 2004 F-250 4x4 with a trion 5.4L Vin code in 8th place is L

i looked it up and did not tell me if it is 2V or 3V

The plugs he got from the store look just like my 1997 4.6L 2V plugs.

i really do not want to break any plugs if this is a 3V.

Help ASAP would be great.

i have searched i here and the Aricles i found the awesome write up on the 2004-2008 plug change step by step.

But as i said i could not find out if the L code is a 2v or 3v . any help would be awesome.

 

if it is a 2004 f250 and has black plastic valve covers and a round air filter intake located the drivers side inner fender its a 2v(it should be).they didnt put 3v engines in the sd until 2005.hope this helps
