Need answers

I have a 2001 Ford F150 supercab 5.4L engine V8. My truck has been running fairly well lately, however, I started it up yesterday, and as I pushed on the accelerator the truck started to sputter/shake. I tried getting the RPM's up but no result. It was shaking while idle, but when I put the truck in park and hit the gas no shaking. I just had the fuel pump and filter replaced about 6 months ago, so I can hardly believe that is the problem. I'm at about 104k miles. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I'm going to hook up to diagnostics tomorrow even though the light isn't on. My warr just expired, so I'm hoping that it is a maintenance issue. Please help, and suggestions are appreciated.

Maintenance issue? What are you saying, - you don't do maintenance lol ?

Sounds like the EGR valve is stuck open IMO.

If the spark plugs have never been changed, it's time. Might want to change the fuel filter if it hasn't been done in the last 30k or so.
