So my truck is getting old. It has been through a lot, including blown spark plugs, a tensioner drilling a hole in my timing cover, mud, towing, etc. Let's just say I got my moneys worth for this truck. It doesn't seem to have the pep that it used to. I've tried fuel injector cleaner, seafoam, cleaning intake including throttle body and plenum only to have little or no results. I have never had the trans serviced at 117k miles but don't feel like I should pay $120 for that. Should I Start a rebuild project or is there some way I can restore my trucks power? I will go as far as removing intake manifold replacing radiators etc but don't really want to take the motor out of the trick unless I have another one to go back in. Thanks guys!
