At WOT I get a whistling noise from either the dash or engine department, it's hard to tell. It has done this ever since I've had it. When I let off the gas a little it stops. I know it's not the Volant intake b/c it did it before I put it on.

 

Could be the Torque Converter. I have read where they make a whistling or whining noise when the needle bearings go bad.
