there's a coolant port in the valley that is known to leak. fairly easy fix, the entire intake has to come off to get to it though.

coolant should not be coming out of the intake itself.

Dont know if you know but, both sides have coolant ports front and rear...https://www.f150online.com/forums/v8...-question.html Ive also heard leaking could be from a cracked intake also.....Good luck though

Yea that's a good thread munoxide. I dug that one up as well when searching.

00expy5.4 - Use the search this forum only option next to forum tools. I've posted allot of info on this , as well as others. Sometimes it's the coolant tube O-rings that go bad. Any and all coolant on top of the block cavity leaches out the passenger side of the motor, - on top of the starter. Search "coolant leak". - Lots of pictures posted on this.

There really isnt much in the way of performance intakes.. Seems like someone made one awhile back. I'd just get a good used one. I have one I'd sell ya. off an 03 low milles engine and all. $75 plus shipping.
