WTF - No electrical power at all!

Hello out there. I am not usually this annoyed with my F150 but this week is just... special I guess. He is the problem:

'97 F150 XLT 4.6 2x4

-Battery replaced today and has 12.7V across the posts
-Starter replaced yesterday
-Cleaned off a bunch of corrosion from various wires and grounds but reconnected them all in the same order I took them off (I hope and as far as I can tell with research online and my Haynes bible)
-Checked all the fuses (inside and under the hood). They are all ok
-Checked the voltage across the 2 mega fuses and read the same as source which was 12.7V with almost no resistance
-Continuity checked as many wires as there are including battery ground to firewall and to the starter, positive from battery to relay and from relay to starter solenoid
-Checked voltage across starter relay posts on firewall and got 12.7V (same as source)

I have NO electrical power at all on the truck; no door chime, no headlights or horn (which should be hot). Also it should be noted that a booster pack would not apply power either.

I've done something because it worked fine before I changed the starter. Just don't know what!!

Scratching my head, hope someone can help!!!

Trevor

Did you pay the bill?

Couldn't resist

Check all your MAXI fuses. Do you have everything connected right ? You have any pictures, - that would help allot.

I have pics of the entire system, - tell me where you think it might be wrong or where your unsure about and I'll post a pic of it connected properly.

Could be a broken ground or the main power to the starter is broke under the sheath (sp?) Both wires should be moved around to see if their is a short. And as mentioned make sure the maxi fuses are in tact. There isnt many things it could be as it is in the main ignitioin wiring. Im betting on a broken wire in the sheathing in the ground or power wire. Keep us posted

Connect the black probe of your meter or 12V test light to the battery (-) post, turn the headlights ON, and probe along the red wire, starting at the (+) post. Work your way toward the underhood fuse block. When you lose power, you've just crossed the break. If you can't find it, start probing things like the engine block, alternator case, body sheet metal, and frame. If any of them read hot, the break is in the black wire from the battery to the frame/engine.
