Thottle body spacer = ABS dash light on

Just put a Airaid Poweraid TBS on my 2001 F150 5.4 4x4 and afterwards noticed that the ABS light on my dash was on, has anyone else run into this problem and if so what is the cure. thanks. Terry

The two are completely unrelated so it is either a coincidence or you dislodged a connector when installing the Airaid paper weight. Throttle body spacers do nothing for multi-port fuel injection systems. Any air the is swirled by it is smoothed back out in the intake runners before fuel is added. All you get is an annoying whistle.
As for the ABS light I would check that you did not disturb the wires on the ABS module which sits below the air filter housing. Follow the brake lines from the master cylinder down to the valve body and check you wires. Getting the ABS code pulled is the only way to know for sure what the problem is and how to fix it. You cannot pull the codes with a standard code reader though so you will need to find a shop to pull it for you.

TBS off - light still on

Ok guys TBS gone and the light is still on, so lets consider this an ABS problem. 2001 F150 5.4 4x4 supercrew with 54,000 miles and my ABS dash light is on, what is the most common reasons and fixes. thank you very much, I appreciate all help. Terry

Most likely cause is the rear axle speed sensor. Approx 30 bucks from the dealer and bolts into the top of the rear axle housing.

That light was probably on before the spacer, but everyone always notices the little things after the vehicle has been worked on.
