i have a 2000 f150 4.6 and i have to replace the pcm in my truck because the other one got fried.......i already took it out and im getting the matched pcm from napa......is there any special way of installing it such as a key sequence or anything like that?......i know i have to get the key reprogrammed and im having that done for $40 at the ford dealer......thanks guys

 

The dealer will have to flash it so that your PATS system is happy and will allow the truck to start.
