ok guys upon looking through the threads i saw cleaning MAF. so i gave it a try an upon cleaning i drove for about 30 mins an the check engine light came on. took 2 autozone the code said low input MAF.

the guy at autozone said jus give it time 2 adjust. to the more air coming in. is this true? wat should i do?

 

Probably not true. Autozone parts guys dont know anything. What was the actual code number they pulled?

 

Did you disconnect the battery when you cleaned it?

i didnt see the numbers but the code read MAF low in put.


but win i came home i checked my connections an they were kinda loose so i tightened them back up an it runs great now!! like nothing even happened. now im watin 2 c if the light goes off or how 2 turn it off it runs real good now

If the light comes back on, get the exact fault code(s).

 

un hook the battery overnight and the light should be off when you turn it back on (after re connecting the cables)

then if the light comes back on tell us the code

 

im goin 2 get the turned off 2day
