what is the best solution to use to clean your engine by dumping it in the gas..i have herd a bunch of people say use sea foam others say use Lucas oil and some say Zmax...what is truly the best thing you can put in to increase horsepower and clean...

 

I used to question the same thing man. But I wussed out about introducing anything to my truck that I wasn't certain of. I took my truck to the stealership (BobBell actually on Rt 2 since you're local) and had the "induction service" done on my truck. Like most service items at the dealerships, it was a bit pricey, but well worth it IMO. I could definitely tell a difference in performance, even on my 4.2! MPG's increased as well. I'll definitely be getting that service again after 30k miles or so.

 

how much did it cost and how long did it take for them to do it

 

I can't remember what the exact cost was. I had it done around 70k miles and that was a few years ago. I just dropped it off one evening after they closed and picked it up the next day before they closed. The trucks not my daily driver, so I have that luxury. I'd call em up, they're pretty good people to deal with, even for being a dealership. It's some special machine that does the service.
