2002 to be traded...
My 02 just spit a plug this week with 92k. I'm gonna have it repaired and trade it in.Don't want to deal with this again. Are these plug issues still prevalent with the 08/09/10 models?
The 2004-2008 can break off when removed. Towards the end of 2008 they changed the heads and use a normal style of plug that has no issues. They are identified by their brown COP boots. So if you are going newer you should have no worries.

Just repair it properly and keep driving it.
I don't think he wants to. He wants to purchase another and drive that, -until it breaks. Then fix that one and sell it. One of those types you-know.

Thanks for the kind info from some of you.... I'll go somewhere else.
I don't have an issue with working on any of my Fords- 2 others-71 Mustang 351C and a 95 GT.

75+% of the people who drive these 2v's are aware of the blow out issues with them. Those who take preventive measures and do the maintenance needed are awarded with no issues. I bet those were the original plugs at 92k that never got pulled, changed or re torqued to specifications to prevent a blow out. Not that everyone is expected to, but if not.. there's the obvious risk that has been known for over 10 years now. 04-08 have more than just plug issues...
Good luck with your new purchase
